Why not start the night with a boutique opening? So, we did. The usual variety of apparel lovers, from network seekers and known shopaholics to journalists and style editors, packed the small locale to each of its four walls. An assortment of mini cupcakes, cookies, cheese and little treats decorated a table set up right in the middle…and all the way at the end (right next to the dressing rooms and the cashier. I’m still not sure if that was just a coincidence)? The Bar. An endless array of champagne bottles seemed to be popping out of nowhere every minute. We weren’t complaining. No complaints about the boutique either. Unfortunately, we didn’t remember to take pictures of the actual place. To give you an idea, the theme consisted of a Victorian inspired setting with a completely modern twist. In other words, as can be seen in the photo, chandeliers, roses; the works.
The rest of the night turned out to be one of the most memorable nights in my life, so far.
